Iota (Formerly Asbestos & Legionella Control Services) is a family owned and operated business based in Portadown, providing services throughout Ireland and the United Kingdom. The company provides a broad range of asbestos related services and have expanded to cover Legionella and water hygiene testing services in addition. The business accessed a loan from the NI Small Business Loan Fund so that they could develop and manufacture a new and innovative piece of equipment aimed at contractors operating within the asbestos removal industry.
The new product will provide an innovative and highly responsive control system which is currently unfeatured on any similar equipment on the market to date. The business utilised the fund for a second time to aid in the development of a custom micro-biology laboratory specialising in the analysis of water. The fund assured that the business could develop without the constriction of stifled cash flow and the burden of standard bank loan arrangements.”
